Abstract

As one of the leading automobile manufacturer companies in the world, Toyota has been contributing to build a prosperous and sustainable society for 75 years. Our research hypothesis was: Toyota’s sustainability strategy is driving innovation. The data was primarily collected from: Toyota`s annual sustainably data book, shadow reports and other resources. We analyzed these data through Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines and business strategies concepts such as creating shared value and materiality maps. Our results support our hypothesis.
